Traditionally, it has been difficult to ensure that a business is using the services that best meet its Internet and telecommunications needs. Most businesses do not have the available resources to undertake time-consuming analyses and utilization reviews. Progressive businesses realize the potential of technological advancement but again may lack the resources to fully embrace new developments in a timely manner. DVP TECHNOLOGIES provides a simplified solution to this dilemma. The conventional approach to selecting Internet and telecommunications services is often inefficient. Typically, a direct carrier or single-source service provider presents an offering that is haphazardly modified to meet your business requirements. The result is often less than optimal, because while certain needs may be fulfilled, some needs may be disregarded or adversely affected. The DVP Solution avoids these shortcomings by offering a portfolio of services from a variety of major Service Providers and telecommunications carriers. This virtually guarantees that the proposed solution is one that meets all of an organization's IP and network infrastructure requirements. DVP TECHNOLOGIES can implement and support the vast array of services of the following Carriers, Hosting companies, and Service providers:

  • ACC Business
  • AT&T
  • Broadview Networks

WEB HOSTING and COLOCATION
As businesses incorporate virtual enterprises on the Internet, the need to focus on business objectives becomes greater while the ability to dedicate internal resources to systems becomes very difficult. DATA NETWORK SERVICES

FRAME RELAY
Frame Relay is a public, fast-packet data network offering a high-performance, cost-efficient means of connecting an organization's multiple Local Area Networks (LANs) and Systems Network Architecture (SNA) services. Frame Relay uses the transmission links only when they are needed. DVP's service providers support multi-protocol, multi-vendor Local Area Network (LAN) and Legacy protocol (SNA, LAT, etc.) environments. Our Frame Relay Service offerings are capable of access speeds from 56/64kbps to 45Mbps (DS-3). Customers can also select either a Permanent Virtual Circuit (PVC) or Switched Virtual Circuit (SVC) as options for their Frame Relay services. Frame Relay was developed almost a decade ago. The development of Frame Relay was to create a wide area networking (WAN) service taking the best attributes of time division multiplexing (private line) and X.25. Frame Relay was developed from a need of high speed, high performance transmission, while providing a cost-effective use of the widespread digital facilities and processing power found in end-user devices. Frame Relay customers have come to realize that there are many economic and redundancy benefits resulting from this service.

PRIVATE LINE
Private Line Services offered by DVP TECHNOLOGIES comprise a full suite of dedicated, end-to-end circuits ranging from Basic Voice (DS-0) Services to Multi-Gigabit (OC-N) Services that can satisfy all your communications needs. Our service providers' backbone networks are 100% digital, but can provide both analog and digital access options. This enables customers to pass voice, data, video, and fax applications over a private line. Our vendor partners provide access from every LATA in the US and virtually every country around the world.

  • Complete end-to-end provisioning coordinated by DVP and vendor partner.
  • Network Management is offered around the clock
  • Network design support for your more complex network requirements
  • Multiple Local access options from a variety of LECs, CLECs, and CAPs
  • Integrated circuits to combine different services (voice, data, fax, video) across the same access circuit

ATM
Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) is the emerging standard for communications. ATM is a fast packet technology that uses short fixed-length packets called cells. It has grown out of the need for a worldwide standard to allow interoperability of information, regardless of the "end-system" or type of information. The industry's goal for ATM is to develop one standard driven by international consensus, not by a single vendor's view or strategy. ATM is a method of communication that can be used as the basis for both Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies. Because ATM is the only standards-based technology that has been designed to accommodate the simultaneous transmission of voice, data and video, the dividing line between local and wide networks will eventually be seamless. Currently, separate networks are often used to carry voice, data and video information. Data traffic tends to be busty, but while voice and video tend to be evenly packaged, these services are dependent upon the order in which the information arrives. ATM technology will eliminate these disparate network concerns.
There are several benefits to end users of the ATM standard:

  • A single network for all traffic types - voice, data and video.
  • ATM will enable the creation and deployment of new applications driven by market demand. It will be the key component to supporting a new breed of multimedia applications
  • ATM is not reliant on a specific type of physical transport.
  • Uniform Network Management: ATM is evolving into a standard technology for local and public and private wide area networking services.
  • Scalability: The design of ATM from the beginning has been flexible on distance, number of users, and increasing bandwidth needs.
  • ATM is inherently designed to eliminate inadequate transfer delay and support both non-real-time and real-time applications.

CONSULTING SERVICES
DVP is committed to careful management of its growth. Our organization's goal is to perpetuate long-term client relationships and growth, rather than a single-minded focus on short-term volume of projects. This strategy empowers us to provide consulting services to clients that wish for us to serve as an extension of their IT departments. Our expertise in carrier/ISP network architecture equips us to be proficient in Request for Proposal (RFP) design for carrier network and web hosting services. DVP's intimate involvement with the different carrier/provider offerings positions us to detect and avoid obscure responses and ambiguous contractual obligations. We help to secure the most advantageous and cost-effective solutions for our clients by "trimming the fat" found in most provider proposals. DVP typically exchanges consulting services for a fixed project fee or a portion of savings achieved through the results of the project. In some cases, DVP will consider rendering consulting expertise in exchange for equity participation in emerging Internet and communications enterprises.
